Juniper & Rye Café & Kitchen
A neighborhood café with food and interior photography, a tabbed menu, order-ahead buttons and live open/closed hours.
Alex Builds Studio designs and builds modern websites for US local businesses, and helps you get found on Google and in AI search. See your site first, then pay once and own it. Packages from $599.

Plenty of great local businesses still run a site that was built years ago. Customers notice, usually on their phone, and move on to the next result.
Tiny text, pinch-to-zoom, no tap-to-call. Google also primarily uses the mobile version of a site for indexing and ranking.
Old hours, old prices, a menu from two seasons ago. Wrong information costs trust and phone calls.
No quote form, no booking link, no obvious button. Visitors who can't act quickly leave.
The website, the Google side and the launch, from one studio. Here's what I do.
A custom site built around your real business: your services, photos, hours and reviews. Or a modern rebuild of the site you already have.
Most local customers look you up on a phone. Big tap-to-call buttons, readable text and fast pages on every screen size.
Clear page titles, service and location wording, structured data and a sitemap, so Google understands what you do and where.
Setting up or cleaning up your profile: hours, categories, services, photos and website link, matched to your site. Included in Business and Pro.
Estimate or quote requests that land in your inbox, or links to the booking or ordering tool you already use.
Free revisions after launch (14 to 60 days, depending on the package). You get the files as a zip, or I deploy them to your own free hosting account.
Lightweight static pages that load fast, run well on free hosting plans and use HTTPS. Nothing to patch, no plugins to break.
Answer-first copy, FAQs and clean structured data, so assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can understand and cite your business. Included in Pro.
You pay once and the site is yours: the files, the content and the domain in your name. Keep it, move it or edit it.
Three businesses, three different styles. Each is a sample site for a fictional business, not a client project, and every one is live so you can try it on your phone. Photos are AI-generated stand-ins.

A neighborhood café with food and interior photography, a tabbed menu, order-ahead buttons and live open/closed hours.

A plumbing and HVAC company site built to get calls: on-the-job photography, a quote form in the hero and a 24/7 emergency banner.

A calm, high-end salon site with moody interior photography, a style gallery, an elegant price list and one-tap booking.
There are three common ways to get a small business website. Here's how they differ on cost, ownership and effort.

More about the studioAlex Builds Studio designs and builds modern, mobile-friendly websites for US local small businesses, and helps with local SEO, Google Business Profile and AI search. You see a free preview first, pay a one-time price and own the finished site.
It's a one-time price: Starter is $599 for a one-page site, Business is $799 for up to 5 pages with Google Business Profile setup, local SEO and a booking or quote form, and Pro is $1,299 for up to 10 pages with AI-search optimization and 2 guide articles. There is no subscription.
No. I build a free preview using your real business details first. You only pay if you like it and want it to go live.
Not from me. You pay once. Your only ongoing cost is usually your domain renewal, paid directly to your domain registrar. Most small sites can run on a free hosting plan from providers such as Netlify, Vercel or Cloudflare Pages, in your own account.
Your choice: I send you the complete site files as a zip, or I deploy the site to a free hosting account in your name and connect your domain.
You keep it. I help you point your existing domain (like yourbusiness.com) to the new site, so your web address stays the same. If you don't have one yet, I help you register one in your business's name.
Yes, completely. The files, text, photos, logo and domain are yours. You can keep the site, move it or have anyone edit it.
Changes are free during your revision period: 14 days for Starter, 30 days for Business and 60 days for Pro. After that, changes are billed per request, and I always quote the price before doing the work.
Alex Builds Studio is an online-only studio with no storefront or local office. Everything happens by email: your preview, edits, files and payment link. That's how I can work with local businesses anywhere in the US.
Every site is built with search basics: clear titles, fast pages, structured data and a sitemap. Business adds local SEO and Google Business Profile setup, and Pro adds AI-search optimization. No one can honestly guarantee rankings, but these are the foundations search engines and AI assistants rely on.
A practical checklist of what every local small business website needs: mobile design, tap-to-call, accurate hours, services, reviews, fast loading, structured data and more.
